Refunds, cancellations & rescheduling

This policy applies to paid consultations offered by AutoDev System — regional relocation planning, application review, interview prep, housing and admin orientation, and dual-career move planning. It does not cover products, physical goods, or software subscriptions, which we do not sell.

Eligibility

Full refunds are available if you cancel in writing more than seven days before the first scheduled session and no substantive preparatory work has been delivered. Partial refunds may apply when work has started but remaining sessions are unused.

Timeframe to request

Refund requests should be sent to hello@autodevsystem.digital within fourteen days of the event giving rise to the request (cancellation, service issue, or missed delivery of an agreed session).

Full and partial refunds

If no intake materials or written briefs have been prepared, fees paid are returned in full after a timely cancellation. After the intake call, we may retain up to 30% for preparation already performed. After a written relocation brief or document package is delivered, that portion of the fee is non-refundable; unused follow-up sessions may be refunded proportionally.

Non-refundable items

Completed mock-interview sessions, delivered application packages, and finalised relocation briefs are non-refundable. Third-party costs you incur independently (travel, temporary housing, application fees) are never refundable by us.

Deposits

Where a deposit reserves a planning start date, it is credited toward the engagement fee. Deposits become non-refundable within seven days of the start date if you cancel, unless we cancel or propose an unsuitable substitute time.

Rescheduling and no-shows

You may reschedule a session once at no charge with at least 48 hours’ notice. Later changes or no-shows may forfeit that session fee. We will offer a replacement slot if we must cancel on our side.

Work already started

Research hours, region comparison drafts, and feedback notes count as started work. Refunds after that point are partial only, calculated against remaining unused sessions.

Process and timing

Email hello@autodevsystem.digital with your name, engagement date, and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within fourteen business days where the provider allows; otherwise by bank transfer to an account you nominate.

Exceptions

Statutory consumer withdrawal rights, where applicable to distance contracts for services in Germany, remain unaffected. If you request that services begin during a withdrawal period, you may owe payment for work performed.
